Our Model

It is said that there are moments when

we find ourselves moving before we even know what is happening...

...and that is when we know the action is coming from the heart. Spirit of Adventure birthed itself, quite simply, from the heart. When the Covid pandemic hit in 2020, Amy recognized a need for alternative education models, creative retreat spaces, and adventure based programming for adults and youth to come together, safely, to connect with self, nature and others.

Our model is one where the heart remains committed to collaboration, to listening to our spirit and moving from that place, and trusting the adventure of self inquiry even when it is challenging.

Spirit of Adventure believes in a Global Sangha, an ethical business model where there is abundance for all and accessibility for all, and generally a celebration of the Spirit of Adventure.

Ethical Business

Spirit of Adventure has created an ethical business model where, rather than a top down approach, there is a co-creative model where collaborators see fair and ethical share of profits.

Programming and events remain inexpensive so as to be more accessible to a wider demographic, and scholarships, trades, and alternative forms of payment are always available.

Workshops and Retreats support local individuals, businesses and organizations, and commit to organic and sustainable actions.

Spirit of Adventure commits to creating a safe and respectful learning environment where conflict resolution, racial and gender equity support and zero-tolerance bullying behaviour (yes, this pertains to all ages!) protocols are in place.
Spirit of Adventure continues to research and explore ways to remain ethical in business, and always welcomes feedback, best practices, as well as invitations to learn more. If you have something to share, or would like to collaborate with Spirit of Adventure, please reach out ❤️
