At Spirit of Adventure, sometimes we will weave our Yoga and Education offerings together!

Family events and gatherings are a great way to adventure together. Spirit of Adventure will offer workshops, retreats and gatherings, and online programming which focus on a journey of shared inquiry, perhaps including a fun team project or activity, and always committed to lots of fun! Day events coming up this Fall, and we will be exploring multi-day retreats and adventures in 2022 onwards. Online courses listed here too.

40 DAY SADHANA JOURNEY 2022

Includes 3 livestream yoga classes per week!

$40 for the 40 days**

It is said that it takes 40 days to create a change or transformation. Last year over 80 people joined the very first Spirit of Adventure 40 Day Sadhana, a 40 day group yoga journey led by yoga teacher, Amy Haysom. Join Amy again in this year's 40 Day Sadhana offering, which will include more livestream yoga classes, and a specialty week of exploring how yoga and indigenous teachings can weave together to support healing and deeper understanding across culture.

Includes membership in the 40 Day Sadhana 2022 Facebook group, Daily lessons on yoga philosophy, poses, mudra and meditations, 3 Livestream yoga classes per week included* (live or recorded options available), group discussions, opportunity for new yoga teachers to practice teaching via livestream with group feedback, closing session *special week long lessons and livestream classes taught in the 7 Sacred Teachings from First Nations tradition, and how they connect to the study of Yoga, led by Inuit Yoga teacher and Spirit of Resilience facilitator, Jolene Tory.

**Half of all proceeds will go to Spirit of Resilience: Indigenous Wellness and Yoga collaboration.

 

Dance into Connection: Creative Dance Exploration

October 13th - December 22nd | 7:15pm - 8:30pm Adults 11 week session (Special Circle of Sharing Solstice Dance and potluck on the last day)

Facilitators: Guest teacher line up! Teachers will include Anna Kraulis: contemporary, Sue Newman: ballet, Naomi Jason: hip hop/contemporary/modern, Amy Haysom: acro-balance/fusion, Julia Wu Wei: contact dance/creative expression, and more!

Description: This is your chance for an evening dance adventure with like minded adults ready to move and flow! Each week, the first 1/2 hour will be Dance instruction led by guest instructors in their particular dance style, followed by co-creative dance in the stunning Beaver Point Hall space! Co-creative leadership may lead to group choreography as we deepen into the 10 week journey. This is a safe and supportive space for creative expression, some circle group sharing will be included. Our last session will be a chance to share individual and/or group choreography, and share a potluck solstice meal too!
